Release Notes November 2025

Standardized Work Order Types, powerful Procedures, smarter Work Requests, and accessible Asset details

Written by Katharina Kos

This release brings major updates that make maintenance work faster, smarter, and more reliable. From powerful new procedure capabilities and AI-assisted Work Requests to standardized Work Order classifications and easier access to asset details, each improvement is designed to reduce manual effort, improve accuracy, and help your team stay focused on keeping operations running smoothly.

Standardize Work Order Data

First up, we’re introducing classifications for Work Order Types: Preventive, Corrective, or Other. This adds valuable context, improves data quality, and enables future features like tracking preventive vs. corrective ratios.

Existing Work Orders have been automatically classified (e.g. Weekly Inspection = Preventive), while any without a type remain unchanged.

In the coming days, all new Work Orders will require a type and be auto-assigned defaults based on their source:

  • A preventive default for Work Orders from Maintenance Plans

  • A corrective default for manually created Work Orders

Users can change the type assigned to a Work Order at any time, and we recommend a quick review of the assigned classifications and default types via the settings page.

Powerful, Flexible Procedures

You can now use conditional fields that appear only when certain values are selected or entered. This simple but powerful “if X, then Y” logic lets you build Procedures that adapt to the real-world situations technicians face every day.

Corrective actions can now be created directly from failed steps. When an inspection field fails or a field value is out of range, a Work Request workflow starts automatically so the issue can be addressed on the spot.

For stronger accountability, Procedures now support up to four signatures to meet 4-eyes requirements. You can also mark fields as required for the signature to ensure that compliance is always met.

Smarter, Faster Work Requests

Our AI now pre-fills Work Orders with the subject, description, type, and priority from a Work Request. It uses details such as the description, asset information, status, and failure type. You just review and adjust if needed.

Edit Work Requests during review to correct or clarify information before approval, avoiding inaccurate data being carried through. In addition, declining a request is now permanent, keeping your list organized and ensuring full traceability.

Failure types can be defined by asset type, showing only the most relevant options when logging issues. This helps standardize data and makes failure analysis more accurate and meaningful.

Finally, the Work Request page refreshes automatically to show new or updated requests as they come in. If you’re interested in trying it, you can turn it on via the 3-dot menu on the page. Each request also includes a unique WR ID to easily distinguish similar entries.

Accessible Asset Details

Assets now have hover cards that show key asset details at a glance, like image, name, serial number, status, and address. You can quickly decide if you want to open the full asset or related records in a new tab without leaving your current view.
