This release delivers new tools and enhancements to make maintenance work faster, more accurate, and easier to manage. From gold-standard procedures and integrated spare parts to streamlined work requests, structured failure tracking, and smarter AI support, each update is designed to cut downtime, reduce guesswork, and help your team work at its best.
Introducing Procedures: Standardize Maintenance with Step-by-Step Instructions
Clear, consistent instructions are critical to doing maintenance right-first-time. With the new Procedures feature, you can create step-by-step instructions for any Work Order, using checklist, description, signature and other advanced fields. Once created, the instructions are saved as a template to ensure work is done consistently across relevant work orders.
This new feature helps standardize how work is done, preserves expert institutional knowledge, and ensures every job meets your gold standard. Plus, with the specific field types in Procedures, we’ll be exploring more advanced ways you can use it in the future, like conditional logic and automations on a pass/flag/fail field.

Use Spare Parts in Work Orders
Keeping track of spare parts is now easier than ever. You can add, reserve, and consume parts from inventories directly in your Work Orders so the right materials are always available when you need them. This prevents double booking, avoids last-minute replacements, and keeps you stocked to cut delays and rush order fees.

Report Asset Issues Easily with Work Requests
Reporting asset issues is now easier with the new Work Requests feature. Any user can submit a request through either by opening remberg or the Asset’s QR code, ensuring consistent formatting and a single place for review and approval. Requests capture the right details upfront, including images of the issue, so managers can make the right decision, fast. Once approved, the request creates a Work Order and can be configured in your settings to also automatically update the asset’s status, helping teams respond faster and track performance more effectively.
You can learn more about Work Requests in Help Center Articles, including how to have Work Requests update Asset Statuses.
Work requests is being released in batches. Please contact your Customer Success Manager or support@remberg.de if you would like to start using the feature early.
Categorize Issues with Failure Types
On a related note, it’s now easier to categorize issues with an asset by using Failure Types in Work Requests. Using our familiar tag system, you can select up to two levels of detail (e.g. Mechanical > Overheating), making it simple for users to complete while providing enough information. You can use this information to prioritise repairs, as not all failures will require immediate attention, and you have another data point to know which technician to do the task.

Easily Duplicate Assets
It’s now simple to create a new asset by duplicating an existing one. From the 3-dot menu in hierarchy and overview views you’ll be able to copy all values into a new asset, adjust the asset number, and save. You’ll be redirected to the new asset’s detail page. Related objects such as sub-assets, documents, or work orders are not copied, keeping duplication clean and focused. This makes it faster to set up similar assets without starting from scratch.
