Once you are logged into the system and familiar with the basic navigation, it is time to bring it to life!

Your master data is the linchpin of the remberg system, and adding Assets, organizations, contacts and Parts provides you with the basis for quickly making the system your own.

Read below to find out what types of objects are available in the Master Data and what they can be used for:

"Assets" are all types of machinery, equipment or items that you manage and on which work needs to be carried out (e.g. compressors, fire doors or ladders).

"Users" are internal persons assigned to your own organization. To facilitate their management, they can be assigned to user groups and user roles.

To manage internal users, you can add them to one or more user groups. You can read about what you can use user groups for here.

To ensure that internal users can only perform the actions in remberg that they are supposed to, you assign them to the appropriate user role. Each role has the appropriate rights in the system. You can read about the roles available to you here.

"Organizations" can be manufacturers, distributors, suppliers, and many others with whom you are in contact and to whom Assets and Work Orders can be assigned.

"Contacts" are external persons assigned to external organizations. These are the employees of manufacturers, suppliers, etc.
