What is the Work Order Management?

The Work Order Management in remberg is a powerful tool that helps you to create, organize and track work orders such as repairs, commissioning or maintenance. From Work Order creation to final completion, you can monitor and document every step. You get a central platform on which all relevant information about a Work Order is clearly provided.


Main functions of the Work Order Management

  1. Work Order creation

    • Create new Work Orders with just a few clicks

    • Add important information such as manufacturer data, Work Order title, description, type and priority

    • Add a Procedure that can be ticked off directly in the Work Order, e.g. for maintenance activities

    • Link Work Orders directly to Assets and Work Requests

  2. Status monitoring

    1. Always keep an eye on the current status of a Work Order

    2. Set yourself tasks to meet deadlines

  3. Team assignment and communication

    1. Assign Work Orders to specific employees or teams

    2. Use internal notes to optimize communication

    3. Track progress through activity logs

  4. Documentation and attachments

    1. Upload relevant documents, images or technical drawings directly into the Work Order

    2. Record working hours and used materials and spare parts

  5. Efficient planning

    1. Use helpful tools such as the Scheduling Board calendar to schedule Work Orders clearly and in an orderly manner according to the person carrying them out

  6. Maintenance Plans

    1. Use Maintenance Plans to automatically create Work Orders so that recurring tasks such as maintenance are not forgotten


How do I get started with the Work Order Management?

  1. Create your first Work Order

    • Add a new Work Order directly in the approved Work Request, on the Asset detail page or in the Scheduling Board

    • Click on “+” and enter the required information

    • Save the Work Order to create it in the system

  2. Manage Work Orders

    1. Plan the start and end time clearly in the Scheduling Board

    2. Use the filter and search functions to search for specific Work Orders

    3. Sort Work Orders by priority, status or due date

  3. Document Work Orders

    1. Use linked forms to document work steps carried out, materials used and working times required
