There are several ways to create a work order in the remberg asset platform.
Read below, which options you have.
New Work Order in the Work Order Overview
If you want to quickly create a new work order without a previous reference to other objects, such as a case or an asset, proceed as follows:
Select "Work Orders" in the left navigation bar
Click "+ Add" in the upper right corner
Enter all the necessary information
Click on “Create” at the bottom right
New Work Order in the Scheduling Board
You can also create work orders in the Scheduling Board without prior reference to other objects, such as a case or an asset. There are two ways for this as follows:
Variant 1
Select “Scheduling Board” in the main menu on the left
Click on “+ Add” at the top right
Enter all relevant information in the pop-up window that appears
Save your entry by clicking on “Create”
Variant 2
Select “Scheduling Board” in the main menu on the left
Click on the desired start time in the calendar and, holding down the left button, drag the mouse to the left or right to define the end time
Tip: If you press the Shift key at the same time, you can choose the time freely. Otherwise, the time is set in steps (weekly, daily, 15-minute intervals, etc., depending on the selected calendar view)
Enter all relevant information in the pop-up window that appears
Save your entry by clicking on “Create”
Note: With these two variants, not all work order details are available in the pop-up window that opens. To be able to fill in all data, select the option “Open after creation” before clicking on “Create” or open the work order in a separate browser tab after creation. To do this, click on the circled "i" from a work order in the calendar and then on the Button at the top right from the Pop-up.
New Work Order in the Asset Detail View
You want to create a work order for a specific asset? Proceed as follows to prefill the work order with asset information as soon as it is created:
Select the desired asset in the asset overview.
Click on "+ Add" in the asset detail view under Work Orders.
The following information is prefilled in the work order if it is stored in the asset:
Asset
Organization
Work order address
Customer contact
New Work Order in a tTcket
A work order often results from a ticket. In these situations, information about the asset and the customer usually match, and linking the modules provides an optimal flow of information and reduced workload for the work order creator.
So why not create and link a work order directly in the ticket?
All you need to do is the following:
Open an existing case or create a new one
Open the right-hand tab "Associations"
Click "+ Add" in the work order section
A new work order will open in a new tab with the prefilled information from the ticket
Click on "Create"
The work order and the ticket are now linked. You can track the status of all linked work orders in the ticket and open them with one click.
Copy Work Order
You have the option of creating a new work order by copying an existing one. To do this, carry out the following steps:
Open the work order to be copied
Click on the three-dot menu in the top right-hand corner of the work order details
Select “Create a Copy”
Optional: Edit the work order subject of the work order copy
Confirm by clicking on “Create a Copy”
Important: The following information is not transferred from the original to the copy: sub work orders, forms, notes, tasks, files and activities
