The Scheduling Board gives you an overview of which employees are working on which work orders and when, making it easier for you to plan your assignments. This view consists of different areas and contains various functions, which are explained below.

1. Selecting a View

In the Scheduling Board, you can create and save private views. You can switch between these views by clicking on the highlighted area 1. Click here to learn how to save views.


2. Date selection and jump to current date

Click on the arrow pointing downwards to open a small calendar, which you can use to jump to a desired date in the future or past.

On the left is the “Today” button, which you can use to return the view of the displayed time period to the current date. The current time is marked with the black vertical line in the planning board (area 7).


3. Date display and scroll functions

Here you will find the period currently selected in the planning board in the middle and the corresponding calendar week in the week view.

To the right and left of this you will find double arrows with which you can jump back into the past or forward into the future in the displayed period.


4. Search, filter and other display options for scheduled Work Orders

In this area, you will find the search bar on the left, where you can search for the subject and ID of a Work Order that has already been scheduled.

By clicking on the funnel symbol, you have the option of filtering the already scheduled Work Orders based on various parameters (e.g. Work Order type).

The third function is the different views: Day, Week, Month, Quarter, Year. This is how you define the period displayed in the planning board.

The 3-dot menu is located on the far right. Here you can access the following settings:

  • Show Unassigned

  • Time Mode

    • Working Time

    • Continuous Time

  • Use color of

    • Work Order Status

    • Work Order Type

  • Card Layout

    • Stack Cards

    • Overlap Cards

  • Full-color Cards

  • Detailed Cards

  • Show Hierarchy

  • Show Agenda View

  • Keyboard Shortcuts

5. Full screen mode and hide/show unscheduled Work Orders

Click on the button with the expanding double arrow to switch to full screen mode. This is useful, for example, if you are displaying the Scheduling Board on a large screen in the production hall.

The “Hide Unscheduled” or “Show Unscheduled” button shows or hides the unplanned work orders in area 8.


6. Add Button

You can use this button to add a Work Order or an event.


7. Planning Board

The planning board is located in the middle of the page. On the left you can see the selected employees to whom the Work Orders are assigned. You can customize this list by changing the sorting direction and filters. You can find out how this works here.


8. Unscheduled Work Orders

This area lists the Work Orders that have not yet been scheduled. You can use the search bar, change the sorting direction and filters to customize this list to your needs. You can find out how this works here.


9. Unassigned Work Orders

In this line you will see Work Orders that have already been assigned a start and end time, but not yet a Performing Person. This line can be hidden via the three dot menu in area 4.
