If you click on “Assets” in the main menu on the left-hand side, you will be taken to the assets overview. This consists of various areas and functions, the explanation of which you will find below.

1. Private and predefined views
If you click on the title of the currently selected view (in this case “All my assets”), the dropdown opens where you can select further individual or predefined views and/or activate them as the default view:

2. Layouts of the asset list
If you click on the button of the currently selected layout of the asset list (in this case “Table”), the dropdown opens in which you can select further layouts:

3. Add assets
If you click on the “+ Add” button in the top right-hand corner, you have the option of manually creating new assets. We have described the process in a separate article, which you can read here.
4. Search, sort and filter assets
You have the option of searching in the list of your assets (by asset ID or asset type) as well as sorting and filtering the list. The blue circle with a number in the top right-hand corner of the “Filter” button (shown in the screenshot below) tells you whether and how many filters are active.
In the layouts "Table" and "Hierarchy", you also have the option of changing the displayed columns and their order by clicking on the three-dot menu:
5. List of assets
You will find the list of assets in this area according to the active sorting direction, filter and search terms.
