Performing Persons
After the update, users must reselect the displayed performing persons and initially define them for themselves. When opening the scheduling board for the first time, the list will appear empty. Once selected, the settings made will be saved for the user.
Pinning of performing persons has been replaced by free manual sorting via drag & drop. The selected order is stored until actively reset or the sorting is changed.
Calendar View & Planning
Work orders are color-coded according to their status color and no longer according to their type color.
The following standard settings apply to all new and existing scheduling board users after the update, but can be changed at any time using the 3-point menu:
Full coloring of the cards instead of border coloring
Display of the compact cards instead of the previous detailed cards
Overlapping instead of stacked display of cards that collide in time; exception: users who had activated the agenda view of the planning board before the update have also activated it after the update and continue to display colliding elements in a stacked manner.
The Unassigned row is displayed and remains visible at the bottom until deactivated via the 3-dot menu (no longer via the filter for selecting performing persons).
There is no longer a large, blocking pop-up window when dragging and dropping or clicking and creating a work order or event, but rather:
a minimalist confirmation dialog when dragging and dropping that only shows the changes made
a creation or editing sidebar when clicking or creating
If an order or event has a duration of 0 minutes (same start and end times), the card is displayed with a minimum width, but cannot be resized by drag and drop on the planning board. The times can be edited using the sidebar.
Users can navigate between different time periods of the scheduling board in smaller steps, e.g. just one day or one week forward instead of a whole week or a month.
Users can search and filter planned work orders and events while navigating the timeline. The search bar and filters are only active on the currently selected time period. To see work orders that match the search/filter criteria, select a larger time horizon or navigate in the timeline.
When planned work orders and events are searched or filtered, all non-applicable cards are grayed out instead of being hidden completely.
A maximum of 49 performers can be displayed on the planning board. A message will appear if 50+ users have been selected.
A maximum of 2.000 work orders and events are displayed in a view. Users will see a message if not all jobs and events are displayed. You can then reduce the selected time horizon to display all matching cards.
Events
Events can have their own event type (managed in the settings), where each event type has a name and its own color, which is used to color the event cards on the planning board. The following applies:
Events without a type cannot have a color.
The type of an event can be changed at any time.
During the update, a dummy event type is automatically created for each event color that has already been used. These event types are named after their color, but can be renamed at any time. All events that had this color before the update are automatically assigned the corresponding new event type after the update. The subject, description and other properties of the events remain unchanged even after the update.
Event types can be managed in the settings.
Notifications
The following new notifications have been introduced:
Assignment of events:

This is automatically set for each user with the update, as is the notification of job assignment, and can be adjusted at any time.

Recipient: All assigned performing person, except for the user who made the update.
