Creating and Editing Ticket Custom Properties

If this function is not available to you, it is because you do not have the necessary rights. In this case, please contact your internal system administrator

In your remberg asset platform, you have the option of adding individual data to your tickets in addition to the standard information. This is done using ticket custom properties, which you can add and edit yourself in the system settings.


Creating ticket custom properties

To create work order custom properties, proceed as follows:

  1. Click on “Settings” in the main menu on the left-hand side

  2. Select “Features”

  3. Click on “Tickets”

  4. Click on "Properties" in the middle navigation bar

  5. Select “+ Add” in the top right-hand corner

  6. Enter the English name of the work order custom property in the “Name (English)” field

  7. Optional: Click on the language symbol to the right of the “Name (English)” field to add the name in other system languages. Then confirm by clicking on “Save”

  8. Optional: Add a description of the field in “Description”

  9. Define the API label in the field of the same name

    Note: This is necessary for the optional creation of an API interface. The API label can no longer be changed once the property has been created!

  10. Click on the “2 Type” tab at the top of the pop-up window

  11. In the “Field Type” field, select the desired type of the ticket custom property

    Note: This property can no longer be changed once the property has been created!

  12. Optional when selecting “Selection”: If several options are to be selected, check the “Multiple selection” checkbox. Then add the selection values by clicking on “Add” in the “Options” area.

    Note: Add the names for the other system languages by clicking on the pencil icon.

    Note: You can change the order of the selection values by moving the mouse over the six dots to the left of the value designation and dragging the value to the desired position while holding down the mouse button.

  13. Click on the “3 Rules” tab at the top of the pop-up window

  14. Check the box next to the desired functions

  15. Confirm the addition of the ticket custom property by clicking on “Create”


Editing ticket custom properties

To edit your ticket custom properties, proceed as follows:

  1. Click on “Settings” in the main menu on the left-hand side

  2. Select “Features”

  3. Click on “Tickets”

  4. Click on "Properties" in the middle navigation bar

  5. In the list of ticket custom properties, select the desired one

  6. Edit the relevant information

  7. Confirm by clicking on “Save”

Note: The API label and the field type can no longer be changed once the data field has been created!

Note: Values of selection fields can no longer be deleted after they have been created!


Adjusting the order

If you would like to edit the order of the ticket custom properties, follow the steps below:

  1. Click on “Settings” in the main menu on the left-hand side

  2. Select “Features”

  3. Click on “Tickets”

  4. Click on "Properties" in the middle navigation bar

  5. Move the mouse over the six dots to the left of the field status

  6. Hold down the mouse button and drag the field to the desired position and then release the mouse button again
