Mentioning users
To mention a user, type in "@" in the notes text field or click on the person icon at the bottom of the notes dialog. This will open a dropdown with all the users in your network. Entering the first letters of a name will narrow down the selection of users displayed. When the note is submitted, the selected user will receive a notification*.
Note: The user dropdown only shows a maximum of 5 names. If the desired person is not displayed, please type in the first letters of the name.
Mentioning objects
To tag objects like assets, organizations, tickets or work orders, type in "#" in the notes text field or click on the "#" icon at the bottom of the notes dialog. This will give you the option to choose the object type and then search for desired object itself.
Clicking on tagged objects in submitted notes will open the details of the object in a new tab.
Usage example
You have a question for a specific colleague and therefore mention her in the respective note. In the question, you refer to a specific organization and to avoid confusion, you tag it directly in the note. When sending the note, the colleague mentioned receives a notification according to her notification settings and can easily jump to the organization's details by clicking on it.
*Depending on personal notification settings.
