Creating tasks

There are several ways to create a task in remberg. Read below which options you have:

In the task overview

  1. Click on “Tasks” in the top bar

  2. Click either on "+ Add Task" below the list of already created tasks OR on the button "+ Add" in the upper right corner

  3. Once you have clicked on "+ Add Task", all you need to do is assign a task title and press the Enter key, then the task will be saved (it will be automatically assigned to you and given the priority "Low". A due date or associations are not stored and must be set afterwards if needed).

  4. If you have clicked on "+ Add", a separate window will open in which you must assign at least the task title. Optionally you can add/change the following data:

    1. Description

    2. Priority

    3. Due Date

    4. Assigned Person

  5. Associations

In an asset

  1. Open an asset

  2. Expand the Tasks tab in the middle part of the asset details page

  3. Click either on the "+ Add" text below the list of already created tasks OR on the "+ Add" button in the upper right corner

  4. Once you have clicked on "+ Add" below the list of already created tasks, you just need to assign a task title and press the Enter key, then the task will be saved.
You will be automatically assigned and priority "low" is set. A due date is not set. By clicking on the task you can change these parameters.

  5. If you have clicked on "+ Add" on the right side of the task section, a separate window will open where you have to assign at least the task title. Optionally you can add/change the following data:

    1. Description

    2. Priority

    3. Due date

    4. Assigned person

    5. Associations

Note: If you create a task in an asset (regardless of which of the two ways), the links are automatically taken from the asset (asset, organization).

In a ticket

  1. Open a ticket

  2. Click on "+ Add" on the right side of the Tasks field directly below the subject OR on "+ Add" below the list of already created tasks

  3. If you have clicked on "+ Add" on the right side of the task section, a separate window will open where you have to assign at least the task title. Optionally, you can add/change the following data:

    1. Description

    2. Priority

    3. Due Date

    4. Assigned Person

    5. Associations

  4. If you have clicked on "+ Add" below the list of already created tasks, you only need to enter a task title and press the Enter key, then the task will be saved (it will be automatically assigned to you and given the priority "Medium". A due date is not stored).

Note: If you create a task in a ticket (no matter which of the two ways) the associations from the ticket are automatically taken over (ticket, asset, organization).

In a work order

  1. Open a work order

  2. In the middle section, click on the tab Tasks

  3. Click on "+ Add"

  4. A separate window will open where you have to enter at least the task title. Optionally you can add/change the following data:

    1. Description

    2. Priority

    3. Due date

    4. Assigned person

    5. Associations

Note: If you create a task in a work order, the associations are automatically transferred from the work order (ticket, asset, organization).

Display of tasks

If this function is not available to you, it is because you do not have the necessary rights. In this case, please contact your internal system administrator.

Where tasks are displayed can be customized in the settings under “Features” => “Tasks”.

Activate or deactivate the respective switches to show or hide the tasks for the individual components.
