Scan a free code, and the assignment-dialog opens right away. Pick the asset or part inventory, confirm, next code. On one walk-through, you link everything in remberg, scan by scan.
The QR code overview shows you which code is attached to what, how often it was scanned, and when you last downloaded it. A filter shows you all codes that are not assigned yet. QR codes, fully in your hands.
