Status Signals on an asset can now be edited after the fact. Downtimes that were noted on paper can be documented with their actual times.
When you create a Status Signal manually, you enter the start and resolution directly. If you set a resolution date and time, the signal is saved as resolved right away. Using the three-dot menu in the signal table, you can also correct the start, resolution and comment later on.
If the asset is running again while the Work Order is still open - for example because an approval is missing - you resolve the signal with the actual time. The documentation of the work stays open, and your downtimes remain accurate.
This makes your metrics more reliable: downtimes and MTBF will be based on actual times going forward.
