With remberg, maintenance now knows not just what was done - but what it cost and where that cost belongs.
Until now, work, parts, and external services could all be documented in remberg. What was missing was a reliable picture of actual costs: What does a Work Order cost? Which Asset is driving maintenance spend? And which part of the organization is responsible for those costs? Without this, justifying maintenance budgets or new investments, spotting expensive Assets early, or surviving an audit was harder than it needed to be.
remberg now automatically calculates the cost of every Work Order - from time entries and hourly rates, consumed spare parts and their prices, to manually added other costs such as external services or travel. On top of that, Admins can define Cost Centers in Settings and assign them to Assets. Work Orders automatically inherit the Cost Center from their linked Asset - no extra steps for technicians. Historical Work Orders are backfilled with cost data, so a complete cost history is available immediately.
Technicians don't need to change anything. Costs are derived from what's already being recorded.
