To define which users (groups) should be notified when the minimum quantity of a spare part is reached, two things have to be ensured:

The user (group) has to be to be designated as the Responsible Person or Group for the respective spare part.

In their personal user profile, the person must have enabled the notification feature under Notifications &gt; Parts. ​
