Parts stored in the system can be assigned to existing Assets. This helps you maintain a good overview of the Asset and see at any time which part belongs to which Asset.
How to link a part to an Asset
On the Part Detail Page
To associate a part with an Asset, proceed as follows:
Select the required part in the parts overview
Navigate to the right to "Associations"
Under "Assets", click on "+Add"
Select the required Asset in the window that appears
Note: The part can also be assigned to multiple Assets
Click on "Confirm"
The part is now linked to the Asset
The spare part is also displayed on the Asset details page under the corresponding item
On the Asset Detail Page
To associate a part with an Asset, proceed as follows:
Select the relevant Asset in the Asset overview
Navigate to “Parts” in the middle column
Click on “+ Add"
Here, select whether:
Add new: you want to create the spare part from scratch and assign it to the Asset immediately
Assign: you want to link an existing part to the Asset

Click on "Confirm"
The Asset is now linked to the part
The Asset is also displayed in the spare part under the "Associations" displayed:
