In your remberg asset platform you have the option of adding absences such as illness or holidays via events in the Scheduling Board. In the following article you will learn how to create, edit and delete event types.
Creating Event Types
To create event types, proceed as follows:
Click on Settings > Features > Events to get to the Event settings page.
Click in tab Types on the "+Add" Button.
Enter the name of the type.
Note: The name field is automatically shown for your language setting. The label is used for key value pairs in the API. It cannot be updated later.Select the desired color in the color-dropdown right next to the name field.
Click on "Edit Translations" to add the types label for other system languages.
Note: Is a language's label empty, the event type will appear without a name when using the system in the respective language.Click on "Create".
Editing Event Types
To edit event types, proceed as follows:
Click on Settings > Features > Events to get to the Events settings page.
Click on the to be edited type or select "Edit" when clicking on the 3-dot-menu.
You can edit name, translations and color anytime.
Note: The default name field is the translation of your currently selected system language.Click on "Edit Translations" to add/edit the type's name for other system languages.
Note: You can jump directly into the translations via the 3-dot-menu.Click "Save".
Adjusting the order
To adjust the order of event types in the selection dropdown, proceed as follows:
Click on Settings > Features > Events to get to the Events settings page.
Move the mouse over the six dots to the left of the type's color
Hold down the mouse button and drag the type to the desired position and then release the mouse button again
Deleting Event Types
To delete event types, proceed as follows:
Click on Settings > Features > Events to get to the Events settings page.
Click on the 3-dot menu of the to be deleted type.
Select "Delete".
Confirm by clicking on "Delete".
