Inviting and Blocking External Contacts

Read here how you can invite external contacts to the system and suspend their access again

Inviting external contacts

You have two options for inviting users from external organizations to the Portal:

Inviting external contacts in the external organization

  1. To add contacts to a created external organization, click on "Organizations" in the main menu in the left sidebar

  2. Search for the relevant organization and select it

  3. Click on the Contacts tab

    1. EITHER click on "+ Add"

      1. Enter all the required information and tick "Send invitation"

      2. Click on "Save"

    2. OR on a contact that has already been created

      1. Click on "Send invitation"

Note: Users of the external organizations have only limited access. They can only view the information declared as "View in Portal".

Inviting external contacts in the Contact Management

  1. To add and invite external contacts, click on "Contacts" in the main menu in the left sidebar

  2. Now click

    1. EITHER "+ Add" in the top right-hand corner

      1. Enter all the required information and tick "Send invitation"

      2. Click on "Save"

    2. OR on an already created contact

      1. Click on "Send invitation"

Note: Users of the external organization only have limited access. They can only view the information declared as "View in Portal".


Suspending access for external contacts

In the event that external users leave the company, it is possible to suspend their access to remberg. Read below to find out how this works.

Note: This step can be reversed by inviting the contact again (see above)

You have two options for suspending the access of contacts from external organizations to the Portal:

  1. Click on “Organizations” in the main menu in the left sidebar

  2. Search for the relevant organization and select it

  3. Click on the desired contact in the Contacts tab

  4. Click on “Suspend Access” in the sidebar that opens on the right-hand side of the screen

This person can now no longer log in and will receive an error message if they try anyway. The “Forgot password” button on the login page is now also ineffective and blocks the sending of the email that could be used to assign a new password.

  1. Click on “Contacts” in the main menu in the left sidebar

  2. Click on the desired contact

  3. Click on “Suspend Access” in the sidebar that opens on the right-hand side of the screen
