In your remberg system, you have the option of adding individual data to your Assets in addition to the standard information. This is done using Asset custom properties, which you can add and edit yourself in the system settings.

Creating Asset Custom Properties

To create Asset custom properties, proceed as follows:

  1. Click on “Settings” in the main menu on the left-hand side

  2. Select “Features”

  3. Click on “Assets”

  4. Select “+” in the top right-hand corner

  5. Enter the English name of the Asset custom property in the “Name (English)” field

  6. Optional: Click on the language symbol to the right of the “Name (English)” field to add the name in other system languages. Then confirm by clicking on “Save”

  7. Optional: Add a description of the field in “Description”

  8. Define the API label in the field of the same name

Note: This is necessary for the (regular) CSV import of system data and the optional creation of an API interface. The API label can no longer be changed once the property has been created!

  9. Click on the “2 Type” tab at the top of the pop-up window

  10. In the “Field Type” field, select the desired type of the Asset custom property

Note: This property can no longer be changed once the property has been created!

  11. Optional when selecting “Selection”: If several options are to be selected, check the “Multiple selection” checkbox. Then add the selection values by clicking on “Add” in the “Options” area.

Note: Add the names for the other system languages by clicking on the pencil icon.

Note: You can change the order of the selection values by moving the mouse over the six dots to the left of the value designation and dragging the value to the desired position while holding down the mouse button.

  12. Click on the “3 Rules” tab at the top of the pop-up window
