Rules for Asset Custom Properties

You have the option of creating rules for Asset custom properties that influence the behavior in the Portal, among other things.

You will find these rules when you create a new field or edit it.

If you check this box, you define the field as a mandatory field that must always be filled in when filling or editing the custom properties.

If the box is checked here, the field is also visible to Portal users. Otherwise, the field is only visible to internal users.

If you check this box, the field can be edited by users in the Portal. In other words, the content of the field can be added to, edited and deleted.

This rule can only be activated if “View Property in Portal” is active.
