You have the option of purchasing labels for QR Codes directly from remberg. These are printed on thermal adhesive paper and sent to you by post.
See an example of a standard label here:
If you decide to use the standard labels for QR Codes from remberg, proceed as follows:
1. Ordering the QR Code labels
Send an email to support@remberg.de stating the desired number of QR Code labels and your postal address. Each QR Code is unique and can therefore only be assigned to one asset.
Note: We will be happy to inform you about the costs for remberg QR Code labels by email.
Now remberg creates the desired number of QR code IDs, prints the corresponding labels and sends them to you by post.
Alternatively: remberg will only send you the labels as a PDF by email free of charge and you can print them out at your premises on the desired surface (stickers, badges, etc.).
2. Distributing the QR Code labels
Distribute your QR Code labels to your employees to attach to your assets. The following branches are particularly suitable for this:
Production: For example, during or shortly after type plate attachment to ensure that all new assets are provided with a QR code
Outgoing goods: As the last possible time to ensure that all new assets are linked with a QR Code
Field service: Equip your field service with QR Code labels to add a QR Codes to existing assets in the field.
Maintenance: If you have in-house maintenance, plan a tour during which you label all objects with a QR Code
3. Assigning the QR Codes to assets
The assignment process can be carried out in two ways:
Via the scan of a QR Code that has not yet been assigned.
Here, the software guides you through the process by selecting the appropriate asset for the scanned QR Code.
By selecting the QR Code ID on the asset details page in your remberg system. To do this, carry out the following steps:
Click on “Assets” in the main menu on the left-hand side
Select the desired asset
Optional: Open the sidebar on the right for the Associations
Click on “+ Add” at the bottom of the QR codes area
Select “Assign Existing”
In the pop-up window that opens, click on the correct ID in the selection field
Confirm by clicking on “Assign”
