Find out more about using the global map here

Written by Katharina Kos

remberg offers you the option of using a large map to get an overview of all the assets, work orders and organizations in your remberg system. Thanks to the filter options, you always get the information you need. You will find this function in the main menu on the left under “Map”.

For sales staff, for example, the map is a helpful tool when searching for other places to visit during a business trip.

Search for data records

You can use the search function in the top right-hand corner of the map to quickly find specific data records. You can search for the following attributes of the data records:

Assets

  • Asset ID

  • Asset Type

Work Orders

  • Work Order ID

  • Subject

Organizations

  • Organization name

  • Organization number

  • Phone number

  • Website

Note: If no results are displayed, enlarge the map section and/or remove any filters.

Filter data records

To filter the data records that are displayed on the map, proceed as follows:

  1. Click on “Filter” in the top right-hand corner of the map

  2. Select or deselect “Assets”, “Work Orders” and “Organizations” to show or hide them

  3. Then click on “Confirm” to activate the filter

Note: The selected filters remain saved when you exit the map

Symbols

Different symbols are used on the map to indicate locations:

This symbol indicates the location of an Asset

This symbol indicates the location of a Work Order

This symbol indicates the location of an Organization

If the selected map section is too small to allow space for the location labels, or if several data records have the same address, they are summarized using a circle symbol. The number indicates how many locations the circle combines. Click on the circle to automatically enlarge the map section so that there is room for the individual location labels or so that you can see which data records share the same address.
