CW 23: Asset Hierarchy Filter in Work Orders and Work Requests

Written by Katharina Kos

You can now filter work orders and work requests by an entire branch of the asset tree, not just a single asset. Select a production line, hall, or area as the starting point, and the filter automatically includes all assets below it.

This is useful when work orders and requests are assigned to individual machines or components but you need visibility at the line or area level. Instead of selecting each sub-asset manually, one selection covers the whole branch.

Find the filter in the Work Order overview and Work Request overview under the "Asset Hierarchy Root" filter field. After selecting an asset, expand the scope to include all descendants.

One thing to keep in mind: the filter captures every level below the selected asset. A work order assigned to a component three levels deep will still appear when you filter from the parent line.
